Curating a place where your target audience will be the architecture and interior design community requires one to exercise every creative muscle they can muster. Bon Vivant Collective — a concept store for furniture, veneers and related lifestyle products — found themselves in just this endeavour when they decided to set up their Bengaluru store. Not only were their expected clientele going to be highly design-conscious (with secondary audience being the upwardly mobile, well travelled urban dweller), they needed a retail space that would do justice to their collection of finest European furniture brands and premium veneers.

That’s where Praxis Inc steps in. “Our design sensibility matched from day one… and it was very easy to execute the whole project in terms of achieving our vision,” shares Disha Bhandari, Partner, Bon Vivant Collective, who wanted the experience centre to stand for “luxury, exclusivity, approachable with high service orientation, and seamless integration of both offerings (furniture and veneers).” The challenge perceived by Bengaluru-based Praxis Inc was to ensure that neither the furniture nor the veneer display were overshadowing or competing with each other.
