‘Superdry man’ brought in
FISHING REPUBLIC, the expanding tackle retail chain, has suffered its first notable setback, following a big drop in sales in October.
The company reported a like-for-like store sales decline of 13 per cent in October, in sharp contrast to a 16 per cent rise for the nine months up to the end of September.
Online business has also been hit. Despite sales via Fishing Republic’s own website being up 116 per cent, the transition from third party sales to its own website is behind expectations.
