Hailing his roots from a Defense services family in the City Beautiful, Munish started his professional journey with some international advertising agencies in the metropolitan cities of the country. However, with the passage of time, he realized the blue ocean market prevailing in the northern region which motivated him to take the plunge and lay the foundation stone of Can & Able, the first-of-its-kind event management company in the region. The company boasts of spurring success spanning across over twenty years. So, we speak to Munish Arora, Managing Director, Can & Able Entertainment Pvt. Ltd to know more about his triumphant trail.

Provide us with an insider’s view into your professional journey so far? What is the story behind this name?

The journey was quite challenging in the beginning as the concept of an event management company was unheard of in this market. Slowly and gradually when people started valuing the concept and the company, it was a cakewalk. Slowly and gradually, the government also recognized the need for a professional event manager to organize and manage their events or occasions.

We use these three words “Can and Able” every day in our lives without realizing the power of them when they are used as a sentence together. It’s a very self-confident statement and has a lot of energy and zeal in its meaning and approach.

What motivated you to take the plunge to become a leading name in event management and eventually venture into wedding planning?
