For months, rumours have swirled that Jennifer Aniston’s two-year marriage to Justin Theroux is over. And now her friend and close confidant Jason Bateman appears to have confirmed the worst kept secret in Hollywood: the pair are not only living apart but Jen is talking to a divorce lawyer.

Jason, 49, revealed the stunning information at the Netflix after party following last week’s SAG Awards. As fellow revellers listened on in shock, he was overheard talking to some close friends about the demise of Jen’s marriage.

CALLING IN THE LAWYERS

“Jason was addressing rumours about Jen and Justin and confirmed they were in dire straits,” one witness tells Woman’s Day of how the conversation began.

“He said Justin’s had most of his belongings from their Bel Air home shipped to New York, and the couple are barely on speaking terms – they’re only communicating now via a mutual friend.”
