Q. What can you tell us about the five-part series?

A. The series follows Chris Carson, an urgent-response officer in Liverpool, as he answers emergency calls over the course of five night shifts. He's a decent man, but he's been doing this stressful and dangerous job for 20 years. He's in counselling because he's suffering a mental-health crisis, his marriage is falling apart and he's also got mixed up with some dodgy people.
