It’s a love that’s taken me by surprise, particularly as I’m happily married, have four children and a guinea pig, so life is pretty full. But still I had a deep longing, an unsatisfied desire for something more.

My secret online search was conducted at night when everybody under my roof was sleeping. It took a few months to even find the right place to look as I was new to this online match-making world. I wasn’t thrilled by the choice on offer, either. I don’t mean to sound rude, but the candidates seemed too desperate even for a bleeding heart like me.
