Olivia Colman and David Tennant reunite for the third and last series of TV’s most gripping whodunnit
-

The residents of the close-knit coastal town of Broadchurch have been put through the mill over the last few years as they dealt with the fallout from the devastating death of school boy Danny Latimer.
But, as the third and final series of the Bafta-winning ITV thriller begins this week, the town is rocked by another crisis when shop worker Trish Winter man (Julie Hesmondhalgh) reports that she has been raped.
As colleagues DI Alec Hardy and DS Ellie Miller, played by David Tennant and Olivia Colman, carry out their investigation, the shocking revelations soon start stacking up once more.
TV&Satellite Week visited the West Country filming location of the drama to ask Tennant and Colman what’s in store…
How does it feel to be back for the final series?
Tennant It’s lovely to have been involved in something that has meant so much to an audience. I’ll miss Broadchurch, but the show’s creator Chris Chibnall is certain it is the last series, which makes you wonder if they are going to kill us off in some terrible way.
Colman I’d happily do
