Clive Myrie takes over as host for the latest series of Mastermind…
As a former foreign correspondent for BBC News, Clive Myrie is used to asking tough questions, but in his latest job, the people he’s quizzing are more likely to give him a straightforward answer.
Following John Humphrys’ decision to step down from hosting Mastermind after 18 years, Myrie has taken over as quizmaster and makes his debut as the latest series begins on BBC2.
TV&Satellite Week joined Myrie, who turns 57 on 25 August, via Zoom to learn why his new role means so much to him…
