American rock band Nirvana are closely associated with the Seattle grunge scene of the 1990s. But as a new documentary reveals, Kurt Cobain’s band was also influenced by British artists, and forged a close connection with UK fans thanks to a series of tours and TV appearances.

With contributions from bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Dave Grohl, as well as music journalists, musicians and fans, When Nirvana Came to Britain explores the special relationship between the band and the Brits.
