After Cecile gave birth to a baby daughter in the season-four finale of The Flash, it seemed that the big event was making everybody broody – not least speedster Barry Allen and his wife, Iris.

However, barely had Barry and Iris agreed to have children one day, than the couple got their wish – though not in quite the way they had imagined.

In the final moments of the series finale, we met mystery speedster Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy), who revealed herself to be Barry and Iris’ adult daughter from the future.

‘Obviously it’s an interesting dynamic,’ says Grant Gustin, who plays Barry, aka The Flash. ‘It’s a bomb that has been dropped on them. Nora is basically Barry and Iris’ peer, so it feels weird.’
