With Top gear now firmly in their rear-view mirror, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are all revved up and ready to go in the third series of Amazon Prime Video’s The Grand Tour, in which the bickering trio once again put cars through their paces in far-flung places around the globe.

‘The lovely thing about this series is that you think of somewhere you really want to visit and then you just invent a story and go,’ says Clarkson.
