We were stunned by Charity Dingle’s recent revelation to girlfriend Vanessa Wood field that she was abused by DI Mark Bails as a young and vulnerable teenager.

Charity made it clear to Vanessa that she wants to leave it in the past.

‘Bails isn’t a sane human being… he’s a monster!’ she told her.

But now the lid is off the box and, with Tracy Metcalfe entangled with Bails as part of a police sexual exploitation campaign, Charity’s being forced to confront what happened to her.
