But that would be the last thing that Tommy himself would have them do as he is passionate about passing on his formidable knowledge about the acoustic guitar and the music it delivers to as many people who want to listen. He has established guitar camps in the US, sharing the teaching honors with players like fellow CGP John Knowles, the phenomenal Richard Smith, and top-drawer jazzer Frank Vignola. The camps are very well attended, too – his recent residential course in Scotland saw 120 students turn up to hone their skills and absorb advice on technique, tone, and stagecraft.
