The BES Expo 2020 is all set to lure broadcast professionals to New Delhi

BES EXPO is in its 26th year of presentation. Organised for the first time in 1995 in Hotel Taj Palace, the show is now organised in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The expo is reviewed as one of the biggest broadcast and media technology events across the country. The Broadcast Engineering Society (India) was established in 1987 and is headquartered at New Delhi, India. It mainly aims to promote the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and practices of broadcasting in the fields of radio, television and other media, along with helping add value to broadcast engineering professionals who seek knowledge. The Society encourages education, research, and training in broadcast engineering through active cooperation with academic institutions, industry, and Govt. It works closely with leading broadcast organizations in the world, including ABU Malaysia, DRM U.K., and SBE U.S.A. It has played a pivotal role in inviting experts from different areas of broadcasting to facilitate the adoption of new technologies in the broadcasting sector in India. The Society is a member of the Engineering Council of India and has its wings in twelve cities including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Thanjavur, and Thiruvananthapuram. At the time of going to the press, the Society had over 2500 individuals and 50 corporate members on its rolls.
