Franchise members Kamerion Wimbley and Chas Listenbee, acquired a percentage of ownership in 2010 and the following year, the registry expanded to recognize five additional bully breeds. In 2014, Wimbley acquired a majority stake in the company when he purchased Listenbee’s shares. In that same year, the registry introduced Marco Suarez as a partner and the Director of American Bully Operations. Almost one year ago, KW Growth Holdings, owned by Wimbley, acquired a majority stake in the company.
Kamerion Wimbley talks first year as BBCR CEO
"October 15th will be my one-year anniversary in the ring as your chief executive officer. When I think back on the year we had, it has been a somewhat humbling experience at times. It has also been the fastest-paced year I have ever experienced within the registry. With that said, I am a very competitive person, like most of our BBCR registrants, and it makes me delighted that we are continuing to build an elite team that is devoted to constant and never-ending improvement."
"I will be the first to admit, we have learned that there are a lot of areas we need to improve, but I’m confident that our staff is willing to continue to learn and work hard. Our office is also learning to anticipate changes within the Bully community, to work as a team, and be proactive instead of reactive to industry challenges."

Dogs are born to work for a living. They’ve worked alongside us for thousands of years, and most are bred for a particular purpose, like hunting, herding livestock or providing protection. Dog’s wild relatives spend most of their waking hours scavenging and hunting for food, caring for offspring, defending territory and playing with each other. They lead busy, complex lives, interacting socially and solving simple problems necessary for their survival.

Interview with Ty Lumley of Double L Kennels
WHERE ARE YOU FROM ORIGINALLY WHERE DO YOU LIVE NOW?Originally I was on the east coast, upstate Pennsylvania to be exact. That's where I built my name put in the work and paid my dues, but I have always shown the Midwest love and attended Midwest shows because I was born in the Midwest. I live in Kansas now, which is where my family is from. Matter of fact I was born in Oklahoma and have a deep Native American vein in my gene pool so coming back to Kansas was just life coming full circle, as they say.
