Q&A With American Crime Story's Connie Britton

What's the first information you consume in the morning?

It's usually whatever my son tells me about his dream the night before. I'm only kind of kidding. [Laughs] I've never been one of those people who turns on the TV in the morning, but I do have a bad habit of looking at my phone first thing before I get my son up. So any information I get is what's on my phone, which could be a link that somebody sent me, a Google alert, or Twitter or Instagram.

Who do you follow on social media?

On Instagram, I really like Juliette Lewis. If you don't follow her, then go ahead and do yourself a favor and do it because she is just hilarious and also a badass. Also, I'm very good friends with Laura Benanti, who is an amazing actress, and she's great on Twitter. I don't know if you saw the feminism video we did [in which Britton reveals that the secret to her famous hair is, in fact, feminism], but that was her brainchild.
