A factor common to all these places is the vibrancy of their breath-taking culture and rich heritage. An air ticket to Kerala or Gujarat or Goa in peak tourist season would cost a bomb while a waitlisted train ticket would, in all probability, be as good as useless. Their emotional impact apart, it’s also the time when these states see maximum tourists’ footfall, signifying the role that culture and heritage play in travel and tourism.
