I never fail to be amused by the annual series of ‘memories’ which Facebook deems momentous enough to flash up on my phone, dear Reader.

Amongst the reminders of happy times, cherished snapshots of the girls and the odd image of how amusing I feel I am after a gin or two versus the embodiment of embarrassment according to Primrose, are a rolling selection of photos of the farmhouse in varying states of disrepair. Reminiscing about living in a house shrouded in scaffolding, cats being stuck under floorboards and cooking in a tent for months, I’m both horrified and proud when presented with these flashbacks of the last few years at Margot and Jerry HQ.
