When Craig Conover told his Southern Charm castmates that he wanted to take his passion for sewing (yes, sewing!) and parlay it into a lucrative business, they didn't really take him seriously. But the 33-year-old Delaware native - who says he fell in love with the craft in his eighth-grade home economics class – is having the last laugh with the success of his lifestyle brand, Sewing Down South, which opened its flagship store in Charleston, S.C., last spring. (Merch includes pillows, hats, totes and tees.) “Sewing is something unique that I really enjoy,” says Craig, who's also a practicing lawyer and just wrote his first book, Pillow Talk: What's Wrong with My Sewing? "I haven't taken a conventional path, and I want people to see it's OK to follow your passion and do what makes you happy." Here, Craig talks to In Touch's Katie Bruno about following his dreams, his romance with his Winter House co-star Paige DeSorbo and his go-to karaoke song.
