Thirty years ago, Garth Brooks put out his first single, “Much Too Young (to Feel This Damn Old).” Little did he know he’d become the bestselling solo album artist of all time. Now, in a career first, Brooks is sharing his story in a two-part special, The Road I’m On (A&E, Dec. 2 and Dec. 3, 9 p.m.). He gave Us a preview on Nov. 18 in conversation with GMA’s Robin Roberts, discussing everything from meeting wife Trisha Yearwood while he was still married, to raising three daughters: Taylor, 27, August, 25, and Allie, 23.
