Puleng goes back on her word and refuses to donate her kidney to her dying dad Hlompho.

Just when Puleng (Tebogo Khalo) was warming up to the idea of reforging a bond with her father Hlompho (Sello Motloung), she found out that there are strings attached. He returned to Johannesburg in late-June this year not to see her, but to try get help – he’s dying from kidney failure. As if the news isn’t enough for Puleng to wrap her head around, her loved ones, particularly Hlompho’s other children, expect her to donate her kidney since she is the only match. “Puleng is conflicted,” says Tebogo. “She feels conned by her dad. Puleng thinks that Hlompho is back in town to ask for her kidney and not to make amends, as she initially assumed,” explains the actress.
