The mightiest of celebrities have fallen prey to this syndrome and the reason is simple – along with the fans and well-wishers come your own share of detractors. The bigger the star, the bigger the scandal. And though someone like Hrithik Roshan has faced such a situation before, what he’s encountering right now is far severe in magnitude. Perhaps the only way he can tackle it is by lying low, which is what he’s doing.

Hrithik’s forthcoming film, ‘Kites’, has been in news ever since it was launched. Initially, it was just supposed to be another production from Rakesh Roshan’s Film Kraft. But as the script progressed, the film became bigger in size. It elevated to a different league when Big Pictures paid the highest price ever in film history – Rs 125 crores and bought the film overFor Rakesh Roshan, ‘Kites’ is more than just a profitable venture on paper. The filmmaker believes that this is one film that could take Hrithik into mainstream commercial Hollywood. For that reason, Big Pictures will be releasing two different versions of the film – one for the global market and one for India. If Hrithik succeeds in garnering any attention in the West, it’ll be a whole new beginning for the actor.
