It was their worst on-air fight yet. On Dec. 16, The View’s Whoopi Goldberg and Meghan McCain got into an extremely heated exchange while discussing the impeachment hearings against President Donald Trump — and it ended with liberal Whoopi demanding that conservative Meghan “stop talking now!”

“No one has ever seen them this mad before,” says an insider, noting that it almost turned physical between the cohosts. “Thankfully, it cut to commercial break just in time, and producers were able to step in and cool things down,” the insider continues. “But Whoopi and Meghan spent the rest of the show staring daggers at each other.”
