Fourteen years after calling it quits, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are giving their relationship another shot, a source tells OK!

It was the reunion no one ever expected. On Feb. 9, Brad Pitt was spotted arriving at Jennifer Aniston’s 50th-birthday party in West Hollywood. “Jen invited him and was over the moon when he actually showed up,” explains a source, noting that while inside, the exes — who were married from 2000 to 2005 — were seen hugging and chatting. “They had such a nice time and were reminded of what they once had.”

It didn’t end there. After the party, Jen jetted to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with her longtime BFF Courteney Cox, 54, to celebrate her milestone birthday, and was shocked to find Brad there waiting for her, insiders tell OK!. “Brad wanted his first meeting with Jen after the party to be away from prying eyes, so he came up with this grand plan to whisk her away on a lavish vacation, and orchestrated it with a little help from Courteney,” says the source. Though their reps deny it, the source tells OK! that everything went according to plan. The Friends alum and the Moneyball actor, 55, “enjoyed couples massages, romantic dinners and long talks.” And now Jen’s telling pals that Brad has “swept her off her feet all over again,” adds the source. “It’s like this is their second chance at love.”
