Blake Shelton never realised how much he would enjoy dad life until he grew close to girlfriend Gwen Stefani’s three boys. ‘At this point in my life, I kind of had put [having kids out of my mind], like, “Well, that wasn’t meant to be,’” the country singer admitted a year ago.

At 42, he’s already been married and divorced twice with no kids to show for it. ‘Then all of a sudden, it happens one way or another, and it’s like, ‘Wow, I missed out on a lot.’ Having [Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo Rossdale, five] around… I don’t even know how to describe it. It’s so much fun.’
