Soldier Severed Own Leg To Save Crew!

Without a thought for his own life, a gutsy soldier severed his leg to save his badly wounded crewmates after a tank crash in Slovakia!

“If I didn’t help myself, my crew, no one was going to,” said 21-year-old Army Spc. Ezra Maes. “I knew I had to do everything I could do to survive.”

In September 2018 the three-member crew were asleep after a grueling two-week mission when the 70-ton tank began barreling down a slope and slammed into an embankment at nearly 90 mph!
