'I Cried So Much When Oliver Proposed To Me!'

It’s hardly possible, but Pixie Lott is even more gorgeous in person than she is in photos, dammit! And when Now meets her on a sunny summer’s morning at a central London hotel, she’s also absolutely lovely. She’s wearing a suit jacket with a nipped-in waist (she has a tiny, tiny waist!) with a pair of silver leather trousers, which she admits might not be totally weather appropriate. Well, it is 24 degrees outside...

Defying the heat, Pixie, 26, kicks off her heels during our interview. Barefoot, relaxed and confident, she talks us through her new range of nails and lashes with KISS. She’s also radiant and clearly very happy and self-assured. Maybe that has something to do with her recent engagement to model fiancé Oliver Cheshire, 28. Well, we can’t blame her there…

Are you conscious of your hands now that everyone’s looking at your ring?

Yeah, definitely. That’s why I like to have lovely nails! I’ve got sparkly silver nails today, to match my ring.

How much have you planned for the big day?

I haven’t planned anything at all – I need to get into that. I haven’t had a chance. But it’s so exciting.

What kind of bridal look are you thinking of?

I want something classic. I want to look back in 20 years and still be happy with it. Nothing too trendy. I don’t want to be like: ‘What was I thinking?’ So no bright pink hair! It has to stand the test of time.
