RITIKA BHAVNANI

A spa junkie, Ritika Bhavnani is passionate about philanthropy and desserts. Having earned a master’s in commerce from the University of Mumbai, she finds inexplicable joy and a sense of fulfilment in working with various NGOs. “It is emotionally exhausting and liberating, at the same time,” she shares. For the uninitiated, Bhavnani is the elder sister of B-town’s beloved Ranveer Singh. Speaking of family, she says: “When you say ‘family’, I envision a sort of protective cocoon. Our parents not only gave us the freedom to make our own choices but were very respectful and unconditionally supportive of them. Growing up, we adapted to that liberal and assuring school of thought. There is a ginormous amount of encouragement and appreciation for each one of us, by each one of us—like having our very own cheerleading squad.”
