Ex-gov charged with sex crime as political dream crashes in flames

DISGRACED former Gov. Andrew Cuomo has become unhinged and is heading for a breakdown after being charged with sexual assault, say political insiders, who warn New York’s former kingpin should be on suicide watch!

The shamed, 63-year-old politico is reeling following shocking criminal charges he groped former aide Brittany Commisso in Albany’s Executive Mansion in December 2020 — which he denies.

Cuomo faces up to a year in the slammer if convicted, and political consultant Hank Sheinkopf says losing the case on top of his crashed career would be “beyond Cuomo’s comprehension” and leave him in a mental abyss.

Political pundit and author Leon Wagener also predicts a conviction would be “too much to bear” and even lead to greater tragedy.

“The idea that he is the subject of this kind of prosecution after years of hunting down criminals himself is completely unfathomable to him,” Wagener insists.
