Where’s the leggy bikini babe draped alluringly over a rock on the beach?” Sorry to disappoint, but this is a Millennial-era Swimsuit Issue. Fiona Xie and Ann Kok and their Noughties (and naughty) bombshell bods have left the building.

You can say there aren’t many local stars left who can fill out a string bikini like they could, or maybe it’s just not as in to put your rack on display anymore. Feel free to disagree — and I’m sure some horny dudes still consider a pair of bloated D-cups the only thing that would turn them on — but there’s a new generation of sexy that’s not about showing as much skin as legally possible. In this enlightened new world, personality, brains, humour, wit, charm and style count as much, if not more, than what’s on the surface.
