Zoom Texturisers: Innovating Its Way To Perfection
The Textile magazine
|October 2019
In this exclusive interview with Ganesh Kalidas, Technical Director Paresh Thumar of Surat-based Zoom Texturisers highlights the company’s journey over the years and how it has achieved a brand status

The ‘Make in India’ campaign was launched by the Government of India on September 25, 2014 with the primary objective of giving impetus to entrepreneurship in India and encouraging the sale of products which were manufactured using Indian machinery and techniques by Indian companies. In this respect, the success of any such campaign relies heavily on the machinery and techniques used by manufacturers. Once the campaign was flagged off, some manufacturers continued using foreign technology whereas others who believed in the authenticity and quality of products manufactured in India, switched to Indian manufacturers and the technology they offered.
One such company which is completely indigenous is Zoom Texturisers (P) Ltd., a 37-year-old venture that has established its credit as a pioneer in the field of twisting falls. Zoom Group was founded in 1982 by Paresh Thumar and his family as a company to make products for the weaving sector. The initial production started with 12 two-lumber weaving looms. Over the years, the company has successfully delivered premium quality products at astonishingly reasonable prices. Within a few years of operation, owing to the massive popularity and demand of its line of products, Zoom Texturisers felt the need to expand its horizons and beef up the production capacities.
