After the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) clearing safety aspects of digital wallets to bring them onto an interoperable platform, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is now all set to come up with operational guidelines for these wallets.
“The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has already cleared the safety security aspects of taking wallets onto the interoperable platform. The RBI is ironing out a few final issues before releasing operational guidelines; this is expected to happen within a month from now,” stated one of the bankers to an English Daily.
