SUNDAY

I am an early riser and have been without fail for many years now, no matter how late I go to bed. So my day starts at 3.30am. I start work at 4am, looking into all the important emails and communicating important decisions to my respective teams. With businesses spread across the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, India and Europe, it is critical to communicate and take decisions quite early in the day. I have yoga time between 5.30am and 7.30am, followed by gardening, which is another important part of my daily routine. I take care of the plants and spend time with my pet – a German Shepherd that used to be a show dog and even won the ‘best in breed’ category a few years ago. I am in the office by 9.30am, whereupon I make myself as available as possible and set up several meetings.
