Thriving In A Data-driven World
DataQuest
|October 2018
Data provides incremental opportunities for business. The ones who know how to capitalize on them for achieving strategic business goals are more likely to thrive in this digital era. If you put data at the centre of what you do, you can have a 6X improvement in operational efficiency, a 3X increase in profitability, and customer acquisition among other things. This inspires the customers who want to make a change, and technology solution providers need to work cohesively with these customers to help them in this journey, says Paul van der Lingen, Senior Manager- EBC program, EMEA & APAC, NetApp. Excerpts:

How are you hand holding enterprises in their transition into an increasingly data-driven world?
A global study done by IDC with Net App reveals that Data Thrivers use digital technologies aggressively to disrupt new markets. Then, on the other hand, there are organizations who are in denial with that change, who are called Data Resisters. But we are seeing an increasing number of Data Survivors, who realize the need to develop a data-driven digital business, and working towards that objective.
