Tim Pearson sits down with FWD and walks us through his journey as a sought-after makeup artist, and what brides all over the world need to keep in mind before D-Day.

Having worked with some of the top-notch haute couture designers in the US, leading makeup artist Tim Pearson was in the country recently.

Bill Blass and Stella McCartney are just a few of the big names you’ve worked with. 

I’ve worked in the fashion industry for ten years now, and in New York I have worked with a lot of different designers, supporting other makeup artists backstage, and have also been a part of the team that actually designed the looks for different designers. It’s a great experience. I actually missed Fashion Week right now, which is currently taking place in New York (at the time of the interview), but I’m really happy to be here in India.

How did you come to do your first stint in the fashion industry? 

The first complete makeup look that I designed for was Resort 2013 Monique Lhuillier. I got that job through another brand that I worked for at the time, and they actually introduced me to her. She’s a real sweet lady.
