Classic Harvest

Andy Wyer writes: “On Sunday 20 August we decided to finish off the wheat straw baling. We wanted to produce both round and square bales. The farmer, Blayne Hallam, from near Bourne in Lincolnshire, agreed to me getting out the farm’s collection of balers and so the line-up in the field consisted of:

IH 574 with a four-wheel trailer

IH 674 with a New Holland 68 conventional baler

IH 784 with an old lorry trailer

IH 885XL with a New Holland 841 round baler

Case IH 4240 with a Welger 83 conventional baler and Cooks eightbale sledge

Case IH MX110 with a four-wheel trailer

McCormick MTX125 with a New Holland 650 round baler

McCormick MTX175 with a New Holland BR7060 round baler
