We Ride Some Crazy Outlandish Motorcycles From Avantura Choppers

It’s 6 o’clock in the morning and there’s utter silence in the vicinity of Mulshi lake in Pune. It is the darkest hour before dawn as the sun is still hidden behind the Sahyadri mountains. The silence is suddenly shattered with the start-up of a 2000cc S&S V-twin motor, followed by its deep rumble that slowly begins to iron out as the engine warms up. The 2000cc engine I am referring to belongs to a different class of motorcycles that are not built on a production line but instead on hoist tables involving several hours of wrenching put together for a personalized machine like the one you see in the images. Avantura Choppers is a new company that manufactures proper American-style chopper bikes on Indian soil. With that said, let’s find whether these choppers are as good as they look in the images?

Avantura has two crazy models on offer — the Pravega and the Rudra. While the Pravega keeps the old school chopper look, the Rudra follows a modern, sleek and clean chopper design. As I got to ride the Rudra for a brief period, we will stick to the Pravega for now.
