Of all the classic Mopars, the compact A-Body is arguably the most popular for making a true and trusty driver. Comprised of Darts and Demons on the Dodge side, and Barracudas, Valiants, Scamps, and Dusters on the Plymouth side, the family of cars that make the ’67-’72 Chrysler A-Body lineup are not only plentiful, but are still very affordable. Their light weight also makes them good candidates for high-performance hop-ups, and their vast production numbers means nobody is going to flame you for modifying one to your tastes.
