Singer’s latest project enlists off-road specialist Richard Tuthill to create the ultimate paddock bomb

THE CALIFORNIAN-BASED aircooled dream factory that is Singer Porsche has whipped the covers off its latest project, and it’s something very special indeed.

Dubbed the All-terrain Competition Study (ACS), the project was initially pitched by an anonymous long-time Singer client who sought an air-cooled 911 with the ability to compete in events like the Baja 1000 or even Dakar, as well as demonstrating “extensive all-terrain exploration capabilities”.

While Singer is world-renowned for its stunning road cars, sending its wheeled works of art flying through the air at speed is another challenge entirely – and that’s where UK Porsche rally specialist Richard Tuthill comes in.

With decades of experience in WRC and Paris-Dakar, the Tuthill family is the world leader in rally prepped Porsches, with more than 40 years of experience and numerous trophies to show for it.
