Wedding Belle

This Series III, Babs, has to work for her living. Nothing unusual about that, granted – we are talking about a Land Rover, after all. But I’m pretty sure there can’t be many Series vehicles that serve as a wedding car.

I’ve been in business as a wedding photographer for many years, and in 2014 someone asked if I’d use her for a wedding. ‘Why not?’ I thought, and so Land Rover Wedding Hires (LRWH) was born. Prior to that, Babs was ‘just’ a much-loved first Land Rover – I fulfilled a long-held ambition by buying her when I moved from London to the glorious, wideopen spaces of Northumberland.

Starting up LRWH turned out to be a great move – we had a really successful first year. But driving the Land Rover and looking after the photography was too much (even for me…), so I made the decision to concentrate on the Land Rover hire side.
