SO HERE I WAS HEADING OFF TO THE JAGUAR ICE EXPERIENCE + FOR 2020. AS AGREED IN 2019, HARALD Zapp and I would do it again for a third time. After flying from Stockholm to Arvidsjaur northern Sweden, I was picked up by the Jaguar Ice Experience representative for the 70 kilometres drive to the headquarters in Silverhatten Arjeplog. When I arrived at the hotel the news was good, I was part of a group of only four - that’s personal service. I checked in, had lunch then met up with my fellow members including Harald - seen below in a tee-shirt showing his Lindner/Nocker Lightweight E-Type. We had our briefing, dinner then went to our rooms for sleep before the morning trip to the ice experience chalet on the frozen lake. Our first activity was familiarity with the site and tracks with changes from 2019 layout to 2020. There are approximately 60 kilometres of tracks used by JLR, and the remainder by other motor companies for testing prototypes, plus other industries such as tyres, suspension and electrical. Our sessions were 90 minutes.
