Volkswagen has just pulled the wraps off its made-in-India for India SUV, the 2021 Taigun. This is no pre-production prototype either, like we saw at the 2020 Auto Expo, this is the real deal in full production-ready glory. The Taigun will be the fourth SUV from Volkswagen in recent times, and will follow the launch of the updated Tiguan 5-seater that also recently made its debut. Based on the MQB AO IN platform that is shared with the Skoda Kushaq, the Taigun is expected to be the spearhead of Volkswagen’s India 2.0 strategy once it goes on sale over the festive season of 2021.
