By now, the preceding pages would have given you a fair idea of our penchant for adventure across the globe. Of all the incredible drives and rides we’ve done over the years, this was perhaps the most fulfilling as it didn’t just involve driving to some of the prettiest and remotest locations in India but also taking a deep dive into history to learn about cross-border trade along the famed Old Silk Road between India and Tibet and beyond. What made it more special was the fact that most of the roads we drove through are largely restricted to local vehicles and that too mostly commercial ones engaged in ferrying tourists or those belonging to the armed forces. So, being able to drive these routes with an Audi Q5 certainly made it quite memorable.
