DEFRA proposal aims to cut particle matter pollution
TYRES and brakes will be subject to new emissions standards, under Government plans to cut down on particle matter pollution.
Announced in the latest Clean Air Strategy, the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) said it will begin looking at new laws for brakes and tyres to cut down on small particle pollution.
