KKR Metal Equips To Be Future-Ready For Automotive Sector

As the room for electric vehicles in India has started opening, KKR Metal Components, a leading manufacturer of components and products for automotive, power transmission, pneumatic, textile, telecommunication and other industrial applications, is equipping its fabrication processes, sheet metals and plastic mouldings for the emerging trends in the automotive industry and its prospective future. It is also making fresh investments to enhance capacity.

“Change is the only thing that never changes. Technological innovation is always good for the society. We have to incorporate variations in our products and in the manufacturing techniques to sustain the dependant families of our workforces. Fabrication is a value-added progression which involves the formation of machines, parts, and structures from various raw materials. However, electric vehicles are reliant on fabrication, sheet metals and plastic mouldings. We welcome the imminent revolution in the automobile industry as it endorses the economic growth in India,” KK Ramesh, Managing Director of KKR Metal Components, told Auto Components India.

The company has acquired a name for itself by supplying products to major domestic OEMs and the global market. He said, “Currently we are supplying our products to Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Ford, and Mitsubishi. As a Tier 2 supplier, we are also providing parts to Delphi TVS, Lucas TVS and Sundaram Fasteners (SFL). Auto transmission parts are being supplied to General Motors which in turn are export
