The Tech Product Designer

Describe the Google hardware design language.

After a lot of debate and reading, the words human, optimistic and daring are what emerged. Human is about being functional, looking good and feeling good. In the home products, for example, we use fabric because I want things to be sensorial. They also have simple shapes that you feel good when you hold them. Optimistic means using fun pops of colour in all the right places, while allowing the products to blend into a home. Daring is to take chances and be bold with what we do.

How does it manifest in a product?
