FUR NAMES

Names. Oh, what an important choice in the life of cat! It is how a cat will be known in the show rings and in daily life. A name can alternate between words of delight or new forms of cursing. Each name tells a story and this is the story of GC RW Starbourne Three Ring Circus, aka Ellie

Ellie is a female brown tabby Exotic born August 25, 2019. She was one of four kittens in the litter. Donna Willbanks is the breeder and owner. Ellie was the smallest kitten in the litter, so she had to have supplemental feedings.

In the fall of 2019, Donna and her good friend Ann Strople, who used to breed Scottish Folds, were discussing the naming of cats. Ann observed that, coincidence though it might be, cats often really took after their names. As an example, a little girl that she had named “Tiny Dancer” sadly, never grew and she lost her.
