Gauteng-based Karen Seidel began photography as a hobby some 10 years ago and soon realised that her passion lay in capturing images of wildlife and nature.
She made it a mission to find and photograph new destinations.Like most of us, she initially found bird photography to be challenging, but it soon became one of her favourite themes. After realising how much can be learned from each species, Karen began spending more time watching, appreciating and capturing images of birds. She has developed a knack for catching the ‘exact moment’ of them in action and this talent is reflected in the aquatic-themed images in this portfolio. www.karenseidel.com
