Airlines grounded flights, hospitals faced critical challenges, banks halted operations, and emergency services were overwhelmed. Witnessing this unprecedented event firsthand reminded us of the precariousness of our hyper-connected world and the significant vulnerabilities in our critical infrastructure. A significant evolution in Android malware tactics was witnessed with the rise of the Android banking trojan, Antidot. Disguising itself as a legitimate update from Google Play, Antidot poses a severe threat to mobile security worldwide. Similarly, the FatalRAT Trojan has been targeting cryptocurrency users globally, exemplifying the persistent threat faced by cryptocurrency users worldwide.The first half of the year presented us with several challenges; we hope the rest brings us more opportunities instead of problems.
