Juxtapoz has gone back to its original roots. Yes, we are excited to announce that our first issue of 2018 is also our return to a quarterly format, only this time, we have more pages, bigger size, better paper and more artist features than we have ever had. We kick off Winter 2018 with a special cover story on one of America's most important living painters, Kerry James Marshall, as his career has been recently showcased in a major retrospective, Mastry, that has toured the United States. We get an intimate, candid conversation with KJM about his life in painting, development of his style, and what an artist does now after getting a major retrospective.
